What do the Experts Know?

By Sean | March 6, 2008

The experts are telling me that I’m not supposed to use large pictures on my site header because it uses up too much space for my writing. But heck the same experts are also telling me my writing is anal. So why waste space typing stuff when a picture is worth a thousand words and the author is a literary disaster???

This site is about getting a tropical life in some place far away from the pollution and rat race. So I’m mostly going to use video and tell pointless stories with hidden messages and maybe even some helpful but perhaps anal information for those who, like me, didn’t want the rat race anymore and would like some straight talk from someone who is already doing it. The above video is just a simple discovery that I made the other day when I needed to paint a light pole that was taller than my longest ladder.

That was some brave stuff right there, I was worried one of the vertical poles would slip off all the foot pieces! Good job.

That ladder was cool. The only disadvantage is the relatively short life once the bamboo breaks down in a few months. But it was solid as a rock before the bamboo began to dry out.

The horizontal pieces were a strong friction fit so there was no danger of the side poles slipping.
