Move to Fiji

Hi guys,
I was recently asked to write a book on how to move to Fiji. Having lived here for six years now, and having moved once before to another country, I can say that I have learned a lot about moving and living overseas.
It occurred to me that perhaps my knowledge and experience would be useful to others so I’ve been mulling this over in my mind and I thought the best thing I could do is mention it to the few people who have found this site and who may be interested in doing what I’ve done — or something similar.
So I’m just throwing this out for comments and feedback in case it turns out there is enough interest.

Sounds interesting. Being able to read personal experiences beyond what is on the internet would be helpful to someone planning the move and figuring out if moving is plausible. I bet there a lot of unknown costs that people would like to know about so they know if their budget can handle living elsewhere and the standard of living they will have.
BTW, awhile back I signed up for auto updates and I have yet to receive one. Found the new posts by luck. I will submit again and hopefully it will work this time. If others are having this issue it could be why mine is the first comment for this post.

PS. A friend just pointed out to me that comments have been turned off all this time. No wonder there hasn’t been any discussion on this site. Before you had to be logged in just to post a comment.
Sorry about that for anyone who wanted to post but had trouble. That’s the trouble with giving blogs to newbies — they don’t even know enough to be dangerous.

I say, “write the book”!
I am with you, I want the sun, close diving, fresh fruit, clean air, less stress… I’m not sure when the right time is to make the move, but it will happen.

Joe thanks for your encouragement. I’m working on this. First I’m giving the site a graphics face lift. Then I’ll get going on it.

You may first check with Fiji’s government
A good book could overcrowd with new population..lol…although it sounds wonderful!

LOL. I’ll let the Fiji government deal with any influx of people. They lose a lot of talent every year because of limited opportunities.

i am actually thinking about moving to fiji … but since i’m living in turkey i dont know if the government would let me become a citizen … or if anything else fails i’ll just go there on a boat and live on an uninhabited island …
